Mina is proud to collaborate with the Alegría Ensemble, a vibrant chamber music group founded in 2023 by violinist Chloë Dickens, cellist Sara Strozzo, and pianist Ricky Moreira, renowned for its adventurous programming and flexible ensemble formats. In her work with Allegría, she contributed to performances of fresh arrangements—from early and classical staples to contemporary and popular selections. Together, they embraced Allegría’s spirit of musical exploration, performing world premieres, custom arrangements, and inventive cross-genre programs that delighted audiences and reflected the group’s dedication to making live classical music accessible, engaging, and full of joy. Whether weaving lyrical flute interludes into classical trio pieces or improvising alongside contemporary compositions, her artistry enhanced Alegría’s signature blend of intimacy, innovation, and audience connection, helping to extend their evolving mission of joyfully expanding chamber music’s boundaries.

The group is equally committed to showcasing newly composed music, often collaborating with contemporary composers and commissioning new works. Versatile and innovative, the New York Flute Quintet also performs in smaller formations—including flute duos, trios, and quartets—adapting their programs to a wide range of venues and audiences while maintaining their signature blend of artistry and creativity.

“Unepovrat” – Touring Music-Theatre Project Based on the Life of Sergei Yesenin (2022)

Mina participated and toured in a multi-disciplinary music-theatre project titled “U Nepovrat” that dramatized the life of Russian poet Sergei Yesenin through original music and narration. "As a flutist and performer, I participated in designing a unique fusion of spoken word and instrumental performance that challenged conventional programming structures in the Balkan region."

This project toured across multiple cities in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022 and represents a first-of-its-kind artistic offering in the region. Its innovation lies in combining literary narrative, visual art, and live original, contemporary music into an accessible form of chamber theater.

Mina Sukovic was part of Tutti World Music Orchestra Serbia, a vibrant world music workshop that in 2012 and 2015 brought together musicians from across the globe. Each participant contributed their unique musical heritage—whether it was Balkan melodies, West African rhythms, Indian vocal techniques, or Latin American grooves. What began as a series of exploratory jam sessions quickly evolved into a colorful and dynamic concert program. Through a spirit of openness and experimentation, the ensemble crafted original arrangements that blended these diverse traditions into something entirely new. The final performance was not just a concert—it was a celebration of cultural dialogue, creative synergy, and the universal language of music.
